Katie Sturm, Associate Broker, is an engineering school graduate, holding both a Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Tech as well as a Master’s Degree from George Mason University. She is also a “Certified Negotiation Expert”. She has been involved in the real estate for 20 years, personally investing in foreclosure properties, numerous apartment buildings in Denver and Texas, and mini-storage businesses. In addition, she has General Contracted and sold several custom homes in Denver and Durango with her husband and partner, Carl. Katie’s clients are pleased to be able to seek recommendations from her extensive list of favorite contractors, inspectors, surveyors, appraisers or architects. She is frequently sought out by friends and family to help them find or sell their residential properties or to show them the benefits of investing in commercial income producing property. In her spare time she enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking. She relocated from the East Coast to Colorado in 1996 and loves the outdoor lifestyle in Durango, where she resides with her husband, Carl, and their four children.
